1. What did you do in 2008 that you’d never done before?
Voted for President! Went turkey hunting, went to D.C., moved in with a boyfriend, bought a Christmas tree, got a job in sales, became a feminist.
2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I didn’t make one last year, but for this year I will. It is all about self-sufficiency and self-improvement.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth? No
4. Did anyone close to you die? No…but Grandma Lula did.
5. What countries did you visit? Sadly, none outside the US.
6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008? A dog, and an awesome living arrangement.
7. What date from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? May 18? Signed a lease. Also, Halloween.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? I became aware.
9. What was your biggest failure? Not becoming aware sooner.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury? Not really…except for that nice jab to my knee by some dude’s foot in vball.
11. What was the best thing you bought? My LeSabre. I love my pimpin’ grandma ride.
12. Whose behaviour merited celebration? Dan n’ Claire, Brandee, Lisa. Halloween and D.C.
13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed? My dads.
14. Where did most of your money go? Well, I can tell you where it WILL go…the damned dentist. Also, student loans…for an eternity.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? Washington D.C., the future…ROCK FEST!!!!
16. What song will always remind you of 2008? Desperation Song by Carbon Leaf.

18. What do you wish you’d done more of? Traveling, reading, meeting more people.

20. How will you be spending Christmas? Dad’s, Mom’s with Wayne n’ Kelly, Winona with Scott’s family.
22. Did you fall in love in 2008? Yes…with Twilight.
23. How many one-night stands? Uhhhhh….what?
24. What was your favorite TV program? Still LOST. However…I now have an affinity for House.
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year? Hate is such a strong word…
26. What was the best book you read? TWILIGHT!!!
27. What was your greatest musical discovery? Carbon Leaf (thanks Dan ‘n Claire) Also, the Zutons, Bon Iver, The Kooks, and quite possibly some good piano music.
28. What did you want and get? A permanent job…though I still want something better.
30.What was your favorite film of this year? I might have to say Twilight again.
31.What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? This took me FOREVER to remember just now- because it was so un-conventional. I actually hung out with Jesse! We went to Best Buy, watched BeerFest, drank Miller Chill, etc. Scott had to work. Boo. Trying to remember what I got from him for my birthday…I know my dad gave me a plant…Maybe it was LOST on DVD.
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? Having Lisa back in my life.
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2008? More business-y type stuff now. Cause of work.
34. What kept you sane? Volleyball. 2-3 nights a week.
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? Bella
36.What political issue stirred you the most? The election. And the bridge to nowhere.
37. Who did you miss? Lisa, my mom.
38. Who was the best new person that you met? I re-met friends this year. Like Ashley Beine and Peter Collis from 1st grade. Also, Jamey is cool – and so are Gary, Mike, and Tim (the shopping-cart crew) My co-workers as well.
39.Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2008: Living with your significant other can be interesting.
